Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actress. Her debut in film was Bad Boys (1983). Then she was a part of the Brat Pack, and later went into the role of WarGames, The Breakfast Club, and Short Circuit. Her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female lead. Sheedy got married to David Lansbury on April 12, 1992. He was the father of Edgar Lansbury who produced Godspell and the nephew of Angela Lansbury. Beckett (born at the age of 14 in 1994) is the couple's son. Sheedy gained a wealth of knowledge from Beckett, a transman. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy was born in June 1962. She is a famous American actor and writer. Her most notable roles are in Brat Pack's film The Breakfast Club, and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club is the title of a John Hughes-directed film. The "Breakfast Club" title refers to an abbreviation in some schools for detention. Detention students would show up at a time that was early in the morning most likely at breakfast time. They are the Next Generation. Sheedy is currently a teacher. She's brought her acting students to her classes at City College of New York City.
